Well I know BFD has a lot of stories... well so do I actually, but the problem I have is that I'm still enlisted... if I wasn't in the Navy now.. i probably wouldn't care too much... LoL  but since I'm here.. you never know what they might see...

I Have just recently recieved the best training for FP (force protection aka kill the badguys before they kill you)...

Was a drillset that was incredibly realistic.  They would have people taking over compartments of the ship, scuba divers with rebreathers placing bombs ont he boat... small boats pulling in full tilt (30+ knots) to 'attack' the ship.  For the last 36 hours or so my boat was under assault by the Tango's...  

They tried small boat attacks at 0300... Luckily me and my spotlight picked em out for the small boats to get em  

They tried IED's... they tried everything and for once did it in a way that was realistic...   we normally have 'drill's with suicide bombers where they announce that they have a bomb... well IRL I don't figure a real suicide bomber is going to do that... we at one point did lose the ECP from a suicide bomber =/  nothing we could really do about that...Luckly it was all drilling right now....

But in truth has been the best 'close to RL' training IMO that I've gotten so far....
