My own ramblings...

Well.... Where to begin...

I'm not even looking at my 'latest' blogs for a point of reference to say where I've been and what all has occured.  To say, I'm still in the Navy, and making changes to keep it that way.  most likely I'll be re-enlisting in about a year and a half assuming all goes well..

We're overseas at the time being, enjoying some foreign countries and such.. though all i want right now is to be back home with my wife wrapped up in my arms...  One of those things that comes with being overseas... we're not even on deployment again.. yet... that's not far away though..

Right now we're on a 6 week operation that has expanded long beyond those 6 weeks.  Such as I was supposed to pull into home port a few days ago and yet we're still atm overseas... with just barely 2 months before a 7 month deployment.

It's wonderful to visit foriegn contries.. You get to see how different things are away from home and how people live.. but at the same time it's kinda like your life is taken from you.  I enjoy myself in a way but also hate every moment away from my wife before deployment... being extended definately sucks.

Knowing I can't be home to help my wife, or to at least support her is a major blow to the male ego.  Above all my wife means more to me than anything else.  What I accomplish is second to what makes her happy.

But that being said I'm still overseas... long way from home.  There are some things I have seen that many of people will not see.  Such as the stars at night while in the middle of the pond (The Atlantic Ocean).  GOD they are so beautiful.. It's been so clear on some nights that we can easily see the milky way and that there are so many more stars to see than I'm used too.. And I'm used to see'ing the stars on a dark night out in the country..

The only wish I really have, above all other wishes is to have my wife with me and to enjoy the stars out to sea at night.  It would be the most wonderful night of my life to be able to share that experience with her instead of taking it in all alone...
